How we build.
Four steps, in the open. You know what's happening, what you'll have at the end of each step, and how long it takes.
Scope
One or two working sessions with the people who own the workflow. We map it end to end, find where the hours go, and agree the smallest version worth building. You see a written scope before you commit to anything.
— Fixed scope, price, date
— A cut list — what we're not building
— Risks named up front
Prototype
We build a working prototype against your real data and put it in your hands. It's rough on purpose — the point is to find out fast whether the approach holds, before the real budget is spent.
— A working prototype, your data
— A go / adjust / stop decision
— Revised estimate if scope moved
Ship
We build the production version: tests, monitoring, deployment, documentation. You review working software weekly — not status reports.
— Production system, deployed
— Source code, CI, documentation
— Handover session with your team
Iterate
Once it's live, we measure what it actually saves. Then we extend what earns its place and remove what doesn't. Some clients keep a small retainer; some just take the keys.
— Usage and savings report
— Prioritised improvement list
— Retainer or full handover — your call
Ship small.
Small scopes ship, big ones drift. We cut until the first version fits in weeks.
Measure it.
If the software doesn't save measurable time or money, we treat that as a bug.
No black boxes.
You can see what the system does and why — prompts, logic, and logs included.
Your data stays yours.
Your data trains no one else's models and never leaves the infrastructure we agree on.
Documentation is part of done.
Every handover includes docs a new engineer could start from.
AI where it earns its place.
Plenty of problems need a script, not a model. We'll tell you which is which.
